Peculiar concoction of luxury and palate. After pandemic, Imperial China @hiltonmumbai is all set to enter in redefined way. I have dined at another inhouse restaurant Brasserie (which is mainly into Buffet and Al e carte) has also impacted the brand positively. This time the game was different as it was a Pan Asian Fine Dine Experience.
Interiors reminds you of the British style Plush luxury. Walk into the entrance, magnificent chandeliers, bright young lobby has two section of sofa seating and beautiful flowers refreshes the mood. Dimly light and not over brighting sets perfect tone. Soothing music and comforting seating arrangements.
Imperial China is famous for its Pan Asian delicacies. Given attention to perfection the chefs ensure to serve you to the best of the authenticity.
Starting off with spicy and ginger infused Manchow Soup with Crispy fried noodles along with soft Truffle Crystal Dumpling. Layer was extremely delicate. Yum Phak Raum salad was sweet and spicy.
In mains I had Mapo Tofu, Stir Fried Asian Green, Roasted Garlic and Edamame Fried Rice and Tangra Chow Men.
Noodles had a nice wok flavor along with vegetables. Green onions certainly played a great role. Tofu was extremely soft but red curry was not overly spicy went so good with fried rice which was embraces the strong garlic punch. Stir Fried Asian Green was completely opposite and had a plain taste to it. But those crunch from vegetables were great to eat.
To end the meal I had couple of desserts namely Darsaan which was a chocolate ball shaped ice-cream and cake surrounded by assorted fruit and another one Ice-cream with Honey Noodles.
Most important is you will find a peace. Seating arrangement has done nicely given the space allocation. I would love seating at other side where you get the view of majn entrance lounge but was already occupied by guests.
Service was great, staff was having knowledge about dishes. Not overpriced at all. Chefs are ready to cook the dishes which are not the part of menu (subject to availability of ingredients).
This is the revamped version and they stick to the expectation and satisfaction exceeded.
